- 23:29BlackRock registers iShares Ethereum Staking ETF in DelawareChainCatcher news, according to The Block, BlackRock has registered the name "iShares Staked Ethereum Trust" in Delaware, indicating its plan to launch a new Ethereum staking ETF. The registration was submitted by BlackRock Managing Director Daniel Schweiger, who was also responsible for registering the first iShares Ethereum Fund in 2023. Previously, Nasdaq submitted an amendment application in July, intending to add staking functionality to the existing iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA). ETHA currently manages nearly $11.5 billions in assets, making it the largest Ethereum ETF by market size.
