Cyber Hornet Files for ETFs Combining S&P 500 with XRP, Ethereum, and Solana

  • Cyber Hornet plans ETFs that mix S&P 500 stocks with XRP, Ethereum, and Solana exposure through futures.
  • The SEC is reviewing Cyber Hornet’s filing while investigating suspicious trading tied to crypto ETF launches.
  • New SEC rules allow faster approval for crypto ETFs across Nasdaq, Cboe, BZX, and NYSE Arca platforms.

Cyber Hornet has submitted a filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a new type of ETF. The proposed fund aims to combine traditional equities with cryptocurrency exposure. If approved, the ETF will trade under the ticker “XXX” on Nasdaq.

Cyber Hornet Files for ETFs Blending S&P 500 Stocks with Crypto Exposure

Cyber Hornet has filed for three ETFs combining U.S. equities and cryptocurrencies: the S&P 500 & Ethereum 75/25 Strategy ETF ($EEE), the S&P 500 & Solana 75/25 Strategy ETF ($SSS), and the S&P 500 & XRP…

The strategy behind the fund is a 75/25 blend. It will allocate 75% of assets to S&P 500 stocks. The remaining 25% will go toward XRP futures traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. The ETF may also hold XRP directly or use exchange-traded products to manage exposure.

Additional ETFs Target Ethereum and Solana

The SEC filing also outlines two more ETFs under the same structure. One will focus on Ethereum and trade under the ticker “EEE.” The other will combine the S&P 500 with Solana exposure and list under the ticker “SSS.”

Both funds will follow the same 75/25 strategy. The Ethereum ETF will use CME Ether futures and may hold Ether directly. The Solana ETF will track the S&P Solana Futures Index. This setup allows exposure to crypto assets alongside traditional equities.

All three funds will carry a 0.95% annual management fee. Based on SEC estimates, a $10,000 investment would incur around $100 in fees after one year. After three years, the estimated cost would reach about $312.

SEC Focuses on Market Integrity

The ETF filing arrives as the SEC increases scrutiny of unusual trading patterns. Authorities are investigating potential insider trading tied to ETF and treasury announcements. The probe remains in early stages but reflects growing concern over market manipulation.

Investigators are analyzing whether trades occurred based on non-public information. Some digital asset prices showed sharp increases before ETF announcements. Regulators are keenly watching as more firms join the crypto-linked strategies.

The SEC has not taken enforcement action yet. However, the investigation highlights the agency’s focus on maintaining fair market practices. Oversight is also expanding in response to new digital asset offerings.

Faster Approval Path for Crypto Funds

New listing standards for crypto-linked exchange-traded products were recently approved by the SEC. Recently, the SEC approved the Hashdex ETF to hold XRP, SOL, and XLM, streamlining crypto ETF approvals under new Nasdaq listing rules. These changes smooth the process across major exchanges, including Nasdaq, Cboe BZX, and NYSE Arca. Fund providers no longer require individual consent under Section 19(b).

This update speeds up ETF launches and reduces administrative costs. It also allows a wider range of crypto assets to appear in regulated fund structures. Previous delays restricted most ETFs to Bitcoin and Ether. SEC has also delayed rulings on Solana, XRP, and Ethereum staking ETFs, as over 90 crypto ETF proposals remain under review in the U.S.

Cyber Hornet’s filings signal a shift toward integrating multiple crypto assets with traditional equity indices. If approved, these funds would be the first to link XRP, Ethereum, and Solana to an S&P 500 strategy.
