Since taking office in April this year, Atkins has emphasized the establishment of a regulatory framework to attract companies back to the United States, supported the development of distributed ledger technology, and plans to introduce "innovation exemptions" to accelerate the listing of on-chain products and services, while also promoting inter-agency regulatory coordination. However, due to the government shutdown, the SEC currently has only a very small number of staff handling urgent matters.
