SmartGold specializes in self-directed individual retirement accounts (IRA) backed by physical gold. Traditionally, these assets are static, stored in vaults, and can only appreciate in value over time. Through tokenization in partnership with Chintai, SmartGold offers retirement savers a way to unlock liquidity without selling gold or triggering taxable events.
