Bitcoin's weekend movements were moderate in the last 24 hours, with the asset managing to gain around $1.000 and again approaching the $89.000 region. Upon touching this level, the cryptocurrency encountered resistance almost immediately and lost momentum to continue rising. The range between US$88.000 and US$89.000 became the focus of attention this Sunday, a period when liquidity is usually lower and the pace of major cryptocurrencies tends to be slower. Even so, BTC managed to stay above US$88.000 for much of the day, after a week marked by strong fluctuations.
