Hassett: Futures markets expect the Federal Reserve to cut rates by 25 basis points
Jinse Finance reported that Kevin Hassett, Director of the White House National Economic Council, stated that the futures market expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by 25 basis points. A 25 basis point rate cut is a small step in the right direction, and he reiterated that the Federal Reserve still has significant room to cut rates and may need to do more.
