Monad co-founder: Locked MON tokens cannot participate in staking
Show original
ChainCatcher reported that Monad co-founder Keone Hon stated on social media that, as the public mainnet is about to launch, he would like to share an important principle in Monad's tokenomics design: locked MON tokens will not be eligible for staking. This will help Monad achieve long-term success through healthier token distribution. When the Monad network launches, it will have 200 validator nodes distributed globally, running on consumer-grade hardware.
