Data: 21 M&A deals occurred in the crypto industry in October, setting a new record high
According to ChainCatcher, citing RootData, there were a total of 21 publicly disclosed M&A transactions in the crypto industry in October this year. These include an exchange acquiring echo for $375 million, another exchange acquiring the SMALL exchange for $100 million, and Modern Treasury acquiring Beam for $40 million. In addition, Aave, Blockstream, CoinShares, Fireblocks, Figment, Plume, Ondo Finance, Farcaster, and others have also engaged in M&A activities.
Meanwhile, the cumulative number of M&A events in the crypto industry so far this year has reached 144, representing a year-on-year increase of over 100% and setting a new historical record.
