Zcash developer releases Q4 2025 roadmap, focusing on privacy features and Zashi wallet improvements
ChainCatcher news, Electric Coin Company (ECC) has released its roadmap for Q4 2025, focusing on reducing technical debt, improving Zashi user privacy and usability, and ensuring smooth management of the development fund.
The key priorities of the roadmap include: Temporary Transparent Address Feature: Generating a new temporary transparent address for each ZEC swap via NEAR Intents to enhance privacy and reduce transaction linkage; Transparent Address Rotation Feature: Automatically generating a new transparent address whenever the previous address receives funds; Keystone Resynchronization and Unlinking Feature: Enabling Zashi-Keystone users to unlink and resynchronize their Keystone devices; P2SH Multisig Support in Keystone: Used to secure the management of Zcash development fund resources. ECC stated that this roadmap is intended as guidance rather than being fixed, and will be flexibly adjusted according to market conditions and revenue changes. The company updates the roadmap quarterly and invites Zcash community developers to participate in planning twice a year.
