Gold, Ondo, and ConstructKoin lead the RWA race in 2025.
- Real-world asset tokenization will surpass $35 billion in 2025.
- Ondo Finance and ConstructKoin attract institutional investors.
- Tokenized gold maintains a central role among RWAs.
Real-world asset tokenization (RWAs) has become one of the most competitive segments of the cryptocurrency market in 2025. The sector, which was worth US$15,7 billion at the beginning of the year, has already surpassed US$35,5 billion, demonstrating steady growth even while other niches faced contraction. The race now involves giants in the financial sector and new projects that combine blockchain and the traditional economy.
ConstructKoin (CTK), recently launched on Ethereum, has been attracting attention for connecting investors to the real estate sector with estimated returns between 7% and 15% per year. The platform allows token holders to become direct funders of development projects, supported by artificial intelligence and a building information management system. With credit decisions processed in hours, the model offers agility and yield, attractive characteristics in an increasingly efficiency-driven market.
Among consolidated assets, tokenized gold maintains a prominent position. Products such as XAUt (from Tether) and PAXG (from Paxos) allow direct exposure to the metal, which has appreciated from US$2.600 to almost US$4.000 per ounce this year. In October, gold even surpassed US$4.300, reflecting geopolitical tensions and the global search for currency protection. However, analysts believe that the pace of appreciation may stabilize, reducing its speculative appeal in the short term.
Ondo Finance (ONDO) represents the institutional arm of tokenization. Focused on US Treasury bonds and tokenized bank deposits, the company has seen a significant jump: its ONDO token has risen from US$0,16 to US$0,69 since its launch, reaching a market capitalization of over US$2 billion. In March, the company invested US$95 million in BlackRock's tokenized fund (BUIDL), reinforcing its position as a benchmark in the sector and expanding its total assets locked (TVL) to US$1,78 billion.
According to Boston Consulting Group The global RWA market could reach $16 trillion by 2030, with more optimistic projections pointing to up to $30 trillion. At the heart of this movement, Ondo, ConstructKoin, and tokenized gold stand out as protagonists in the convergence between traditional finance and blockchain, shaping the next phase of the digital economy.
