Maple Finance ends SYRUP staking and adopts a buyback model
Jinse Finance reported that the Maple Finance community supports a proposal to terminate SYRUP staking and shift to an income-based token buyback model. According to this new plan, Maple Finance will stop providing staking rewards for SYRUP tokens and instead enhance token value through a project revenue-driven token buyback mechanism, aiming to achieve long-term stability and tie token value to the platform's actual business performance. According to data from Snapshot, the proposal (MIP-019) was announced on October 28 and has currently received support from over 91% of the Maple (SYRUP) community. The final vote will end on October 31.
