OpenAI: Total investment in AI infrastructure is approximately $1.4 trillion
Jinse Finance reported that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated the company's total infrastructure construction commitments slightly exceed 30 gigawatts, with a total investment of approximately $1.4 trillion. The company's vision is to build infrastructure factories capable of producing 1 gigawatt of computing power per week, and to significantly reduce AI computing costs to about $20 billion per gigawatt over a five-year lifecycle.
