Sonic Labs founder questions the funding flow of the Ethereum Foundation, stating that he contacted EF but received no response.
Jinse Finance reported that Sonic Labs founder Andre Cronje posted, "I'm very confused. So who exactly is the Ethereum Foundation (EF) funding or supporting? When I was developing on Ethereum, I burned through over 700 ETH just on deployment and infrastructure. I tried to contact EF, but never received any response—no business connection, no grants, no support of any kind, not even a retweet. Later, when I started participating in the Sonic ecosystem, I was really confused because most of the teams there had BD support, foundation funding, TVL incentives, audits, and ongoing marketing. I thought EF operated the same way. But if they're not supporting core developers (like Peter and the geth team), nor backing the most active Layer 2 projects (like Sandeep and Polygon), then where exactly is all their money going?"
