The announcement stated that MetaDAO's robust ICO platform gained strong traction in its early stages—attracting over $200 million in funding for founders, while granting liquidity investors rights and fundamentally aligning incentives between both parties—representing a significant step forward in the evolution of on-chain capital formation. Previously, the MetaDAO community passed a proposal to "sell up to 2 million META at market price or at a premium."
