Jinse Finance reported that Neuralink, the brain-computer interface company under Elon Musk, has submitted a scientific paper to an academic journal detailing the trial results of some patients. This will be the company's first peer-reviewed publication containing human data. Michael Lawton, CEO and president of Barrow Neurological Institute, one of Neuralink's clinical trial sites, revealed that the paper has been submitted to The New England Journal of Medicine and covers the first three patients implanted with Neuralink devices, including safety data. Neuralink is one of several companies developing brain-computer interfaces, a technology that enables direct communication between the brain and electronic devices. The company has raised over 1 billion dollars in funding, with its valuation reaching 9 billion dollars in the latest round, but has not yet published any peer-reviewed studies containing human data. External scientists will be able to independently evaluate the actual effectiveness of its devices using these results.
