Core Scientific to hold shareholder vote on merger with CoreWeave on October 30
Jinse Finance reported that Core Scientific has scheduled a special shareholders' meeting on October 30 to vote on its proposed merger with artificial intelligence cloud computing company CoreWeave. According to the final proxy statement submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last Friday, the meeting will be held online, where investors will be asked to vote on the merger agreement signed on July 7—under which Core Scientific will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of CoreWeave. In addition, shareholders will also vote on an advisory proposal regarding executive compensation related to the transaction.
