No Altseason Ahead: Bear Market May Have Already Begun

The bear market might already be here — and this time, altseason may never come. Here's what retail investors need to know. The Bear Might Already Be in ControlA New Kind of Patience

  • The expected altseason may not arrive this cycle.
  • Signs suggest the bear market has already started.
  • Patience is key as market sentiment shifts until year’s end.

In previous crypto cycles, the end of Bitcoin ’s run often triggered a surge in altcoins — a phase popularly known as “altseason.” It’s the moment retail investors eagerly wait for, hoping for explosive returns on smaller coins. But this cycle is looking different.

Retail investors strongly believe altseason always follows. However, what if this time is truly different? Several market analysts and traders are now pointing to signs that the bear market may have quietly started — without the fireworks of an altseason at all.

Market structure, sentiment, and volume are showing fatigue. Bitcoin dominance remains strong, and many altcoins are struggling to recover from recent dips. In past cycles, altcoins soared after BTC cooled off. But now, that momentum just isn’t there.

The Bear Might Already Be in Control

If the altseason is skipped entirely, that raises a bigger question: Has the bear market already started?

Price action across the board shows a slow grind downward. Altcoins are bleeding out, Bitcoin has lost upward momentum, and key narratives are losing steam. The market lacks new retail interest, and social metrics suggest enthusiasm is waning.

If this is the beginning of the bear phase, it could last until the end of the year — possibly longer. That would mean months of sideways or declining price action, low volume, and waning hype.

Investors who are still waiting for an altseason rally might be caught off guard. Instead of chasing pumps, this could be a time for building, learning, and staying patient.

Retail believes there’s no bear market without an altseason. But what if I told you there will be no altseason in this cycle? What if I told you I see a very high probability that the bear market has already begun? Patience, the bear will rule until year’s end

A New Kind of Patience

The idea that there might be no altseason at all challenges a major assumption in crypto investing. But markets evolve. Just because it’s happened before doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed again.

For those still holding or planning to enter, patience will be more important than ever. This bear might rule until the year ends — and perhaps beyond.
