Federal Reserve Board nominee Milan passes Senate committee review and may take office next week
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee voted along party lines on Wednesday to support the nomination of Trump's advisor Stephen Moore for a short-term position as a Federal Reserve governor. The committee approved the nomination by a vote of 13 to 11, and Moore is expected to be confirmed by a full Senate vote on Monday. The Federal Reserve will hold a meeting next week, and the market widely expects the first interest rate cut since December last year.
