Federal Reserve Governor: Multiple rate cuts may be seen, depending on the data
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinse Finance, Federal Reserve Governor Waller stated that he believes there should be a rate cut at the next meeting. The yield on the US 10-year Treasury bond has basically stabilized.
We may see multiple rate cuts, whether at every meeting or at alternate meetings, it all depends on the data. There is no need to follow a fixed order for rate cuts.
He hopes to avoid a downturn in the labor market. "We know there will be a slight fluctuation in inflation, but it will not be permanent. In six months, it will be closer to the 2% target."
