Kerberus acquires Pocket Universe for a seven-figure sum to develop crypto-specific antivirus software
Foresight News reports, citing Cointelegraph, that crypto security platform Kerberus has acquired Pocket Universe developer Refract for a seven-figure sum, with plans to develop dedicated crypto antivirus software. Kerberus will integrate Pocket Universe with its security extension Sentinel3, expanding protection to all EVM chains and Solana, and will begin developing the first crypto antivirus software. Pocket Universe founders Justin Phu and Nishan Samarasinghe will leave the company to pursue new projects. Crypto Banter founder and Onchain Capital CEO Ran Neuner will join Kerberus as a strategic advisor and distribution partner. Kerberus expects to launch an initial version of the product in about four months.
