SoFi Partners with Lightspark to Launch Global Remittance Services via Bitcoin Lightning Network

According to ChainCatcher, as reported by CoinDesk, SoFi Technologies is set to enable remittance payments on Bitcoin’s Layer 2 Lightning Network through a partnership with Lightspark, aiming to provide its users with real-time international transfer services.
SoFi announced that it will integrate Lightspark’s Universal Money Address (UMA), which operates on the Bitcoin Lightning Network, to support near-instant cross-border payments.
