According to a report by Jinse Finance citing Reuters, Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio has sold his remaining shares in the fund, according to a letter sent to investors. Bridgewater, the world’s largest hedge fund with $92.1 billion in assets under management, was founded by Dalio 50 years ago. This transaction marks the end of a years-long transition period for the firm. The 76-year-old Ray Dalio stepped down as CEO in 2017 and handed over control of Bridgewater to a new generation of investors in 2022. A source also stated that Ray Dalio will resign from his position as a board member.
