US June CPI Rises 2.7% Year-on-Year, Exceeding Market Expectations
According to Jinse Finance, the US CPI for June increased by 2.7% year-on-year, with an estimate of 2.6% and a previous value of 2.4%. The June CPI rose 0.3% month-on-month, in line with the estimate of 0.3% and up from the previous value of 0.1%. The US core CPI for June increased by 2.9% year-on-year, matching the estimate of 2.9%. The core CPI for June rose 0.2% month-on-month, compared to an estimated 0.3%.
