Will Musk Be Expelled? Trump Responds: I’ll Have to Think About It
2025/07/01 20:27According to Jinse Finance, citing CCTV News, on the morning of July 1 local time, U.S. President Trump was interviewed by the media twice before heading to Florida to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new immigrant detention facility "Alligator Devil Island." Both interviews touched on his ongoing "feud" with American entrepreneur and former head of the Department of Government Efficiency, Musk. At the White House, when asked whether he would deport Musk, Trump replied, "I'll have to think about it," and suggested he might let the "Department of Government Efficiency," which he described as a "monster that could turn on its master," deal with Musk. He also reiterated that Musk "has received plenty of government subsidies." In another interview before boarding his plane, Trump added, "The Department of Government Efficiency will keep an eye on Musk, and we could save a lot of money," further stating that Musk "shouldn't play this game with me."
