Digital Banking Giant Revolut Explores Plans to Issue Its Own Stablecoin
London-based digital banking giant Revolut is actively exploring plans to issue its own stablecoin. Serving 55 million individual users and 500,000 business clients across 160 countries, Revolut was recently valued at $48 billion. In 2024, Revolut launched its EU-focused crypto trading platform, RevolutX. According to two sources, Revolut has already entered into partnership discussions with at least one native crypto company regarding its stablecoin initiative.
