Beosin: EIP-7702 and Next-Generation AA Wallet Security Audit Analysis

The Beosin security team has released a report analyzing the security risks and countermeasures for AA wallets under the EIP-7702 standard. This proposal allows externally owned accounts (EOAs) to execute specific contract code during transactions, which, while enhancing flexibility, may also introduce security risks such as authorization replay attacks, contract compatibility issues, and phishing attacks. The report provides a detailed explanation of potential threats, including wallet contract risks, and establishes targeted audit procedures. The research points out that EIP-7702 will develop in tandem with EIP-4337, supporting the implementation of more complex wallet logic and imposing new security requirements on developers and auditors. By changing the static assumptions about account behavior, this standard offers a more flexible implementation path for account abstraction.
