According to ChainCatcher, as reported by FinanceFeeds, Tether has frozen over $12.3 million worth of USDT on the Tron blockchain. Tronscan data shows that the freeze occurred at 9:15 a.m. (UTC) on Sunday. Although Tether has not yet issued a public response, it is widely believed that this action is related to the U.S. Treasury sanctions list or anti-money laundering (AML) compliance reviews.
