On May 8, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell stated that, for now, the decision to wait seems quite clear. As developments occur, we can act swiftly at our discretion. If we see higher inflation and higher unemployment, there will be no further progress towards the Fed's goals. The Fed will see a delay in achieving its goals next year.
