Trump and David Sacks to Attend "Crypto and AI Innovators" Dinner, Single Ticket Costs $1.5 Million
This month, Trump has scheduled two cryptocurrency-themed dinners—one for well-funded political donors and another for "Meme Coin" millionaires. The first dinner is set for Monday, with a fundraising amount of $1.5 million per person, making it one of the most expensive political fundraising events recently. The second dinner will be held on May 22, offering participants the opportunity to connect with Trump's inner circle, not through cash donations, but by holding TRUMP tokens. The "Cryptocurrency and AI Innovators Dinner," hosted by MAGA Inc., took place on May 5, with Trump and David Sacks in attendance. The committee receiving the funds, MAGA Inc., is a Super PAC supporting Trump. It is unclear how this PAC will utilize the millions of dollars raised through a series of dinners in the spring. The cryptocurrency community is thrilled by Sacks' growing influence in Washington, stating that he and other Trump-appointed officials have helped achieve a major policy shift, securing a series of regulatory victories across multiple federal agencies, which many industry executives describe as a 180-degree turn from President Joe Biden's administration's policies.
