May 3 news, Unichain announced that it has become the first Layer2 to build blocks in a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), supporting MEV protection, verifiable priority ordering, and transaction rollback protection. This upgrade reduces MEV value loss through encrypted mempool and priority ordering, and supports a publicly verifiable block construction mechanism. Additionally, with rollback protection enabled, users can avoid paying gas for failed transactions in specific applications, improving price accuracy and block space utilization
