Institutions Predict: Bank of England to Cut Rates in May and Three More Times This Year
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Deutsche Bank's senior economist Sanjay Raja stated that the Bank of England is expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points in May, and then cut rates three more times in August, November, and December this year. As UK inflation slows and the labor market shows signs of easing, the UK may accelerate the pace of rate cuts. Given the rising uncertainties in various aspects, we believe the Monetary Policy Committee will open the door to faster and even larger rate cuts in the coming months or quarters. (Jin10)
