Analysts predict that the core CPI in March will drop to a four-year low year-on-year
Wall Street Journal reporter Nick Timiraos stated that analysts expect the CPI report for March to be moderate, and this will be the last inflation data unaffected by tariffs. The market predicts a 0.08% month-on-month increase in March's CPI, with core CPI rising by 0.24%. If predictions are accurate, year-on-year CPI will reach 2.5%, while core CPI will drop to 3.0%, marking its lowest level in four years.
