Forexlive: Tomorrow night's Powell speech more important than non-farm payrolls
According to Golden Ten Data, financial website Forexlive said that Powell's speech on Friday will be more important than the non-farm payrolls data, and that the market has already fully digested the expectation of a rate cut in June, but all the comments from Fed officials on tariffs have been more hawkish.
If Powell's language also turns hawkish, then beware of a serious repricing of market expectations for a Fed rate cut.
