The three major U.S. stock indices closed collectively higher, with the Dow up 0.85%, the Nasdaq up 0.31%, and the S&P 500 up 0.64%, and popular tech stocks mixed, with Intel up nearly 7%, AMD up more than 3%, Tesla down more than 4%, and Nvidia and Amazon down more than 1%.
