The Bitcoin blockchain is used to ensure the voting results of the Tennessee Republican Convention
According to Bitcoin Magazine, on March 4, 2025, the Williamson County Republican Party held a convention at the Franklin Marriott Hotel in the center of Williamson County, Tennessee. During the event, "true" Republicans (i.e., those who have voted at least three times in the past four Republican primaries) voted for the future local leadership of their party.
Both sides of the election - Elevate and Williamson County Republicans - each put forward a list of eight candidates. The final voting results were submitted (added to) Bitcoin block 886,370 through Simple Proof's Immutable Proof service. Immutable Proof is an automated service that uses OpenTimestamps protocol to help protect public record integrity.
