The shareholders of Stronghold voted in majority favor for its merger with Bitfarms
On February 28, Bitcoin mining company Stronghold announced that its shareholders have voted overwhelmingly in favor of the upcoming merger between Stronghold and Bitfarms Ltd. The merger agreement and plan were signed on August 21, 2024, and subsequently revised. After the merger proposal was approved, the company expects the merger to be completed by March 2025, subject to satisfaction or waiver of remaining conditions for completion. The final report on the results of the special shareholder meeting will be submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Form 8-K.
