97.5 per cent probability that the Federal Reserve will leave interest rates unchanged in March
Golden Finance reported that according to CME ‘Fed Watch’: the probability of the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged in March is 97.5%, and the probability of cutting rates by 25 basis points is 2.5%. The probability of keeping the current interest rate unchanged by May is 80.8%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 18.8%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 0.4%.
