According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’: the probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged in March is 97.5%, and the probability of cutting rates by 25 basis points is 2.5%. The probability of keeping the current interest rate unchanged in May is 88.9%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 10.8%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 0.2%.
