The union is a non-profit organization that provides support for highway patrol officers, dispatchers, and clerical support staff. It has already adopted the "Get Off Zero" proof-of-work program. Some of the Bitcoin funds may be self-custodied. If this project goes smoothly, it could become the first time a U.S law enforcement association adopts Bitcoin.
