New York State Senator James Sanders Jr. has proposed a bill to establish a New York State Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Research Working Group, which aims to provide the governor and legislative bodies with information on the widespread use of cryptocurrencies and other forms of digital currencies and their auxiliary systems, including but not limited to blockchain technology.
