Amazon plans to increase its capital expenditure to 100 billion dollars this year, mainly for the research and development of AI technology
Amazon announced on February 6th local time that it plans to increase its capital expenditure to $100 billion by 2025, up from about $83 billion last year. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said in an earnings call that most of the capital expenditure will be used for AWS's cloud computing division to develop AI technology.
