Metaplanet plans to raise about 116 billion yen to buy BTC
Japanese listed company Metaplanet announced that it will issue 21 million new share subscription rights at a discount rate of 0% to raise about 116 billion yen (about 745 million U.S. dollars) for further purchases of Bitcoin. This will become the largest Bitcoin purchase fund raising in the history of Asian stock markets.
