Open Campus launches its Layer3 blockchain EDU Chain on Arbitrum
Open Campus has officially launched its Layer 3 blockchain, EDU Chain, on Arbitrum Orbit. The blockchain was launched on January 17th with the aim to support education applications and on-chain education driven by EDU tokens. A standout feature of the EDU Chain is Open Campus's (OC) achievement system, formerly known as verifiable credentials. This system allows educational institutions and training centers to issue decentralized, tamper-proof qualification records for learners. Currently, the Total Value Locked (TVL) in EDU Chain has reached $150 million USD. (Cointelegraph)
