Crypto advocacy group calls on SEC to review crypto-related lawsuits immediately after Trump takes office
a crypto advocacy group has called on the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to review all existing investigations, Wells notices, and ongoing litigation related to crypto on the first day of the Trump administration. The Token Alliance of the Digital Chamber of Commerce stated in a statement that the new US government will provide an opportunity for the SEC to reset its "historically problematic relationship" with the digital asset industry. It is worth noting that Paul Atkins, the SEC chairman nominee appointed by Trump, is a member of the alliance's advisory committee. "We need to cultivate a culture of mutual trust - to make the digital asset industry confident in the SEC's intentions, while also making the SEC aware that the majority of digital asset participants are working hard to operate responsibly," the alliance said in a statement on December 18th.
