MetaMask Extension v12.6 version is launched, users can exchange tokens without using ETH to get Gas
On November 20, MetaMask and X announced the launch of MetaMask Extension v12.6 version, in which users can exchange tokens without using ETH for Gas. This function is realized through Gas Station, so users don't need to manually purchase or transfer more ETH to their wallets; MetaMask will handle this issue during transactions. The currently supported assets include USDT, USDC, DAI, ETH, wETH, wBTC, wstETH and wSOL.
In addition, the new version also allows users to sign transactions on permitted networks without manually approving network switches.
