Animoca Brands Co-creation: Cryptocurrency Needs Institutional Support
In an interview at the Korea Blockchain Week, Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, stated that without UGC (User Generated Content), the internet would be worthless. When asked about Animoca Brands' next steps, Yat Siu admitted that the company's future is constantly changing but "there is no conclusion yet. However, what I want to say is that Animoca Brands will continue to invest in developing the Web3 ecosystem."
Furthermore, Yat Siu also expressed that cryptocurrencies need institutional support. Compared with traditional finance, over 80% of investments in the US stock market come from institutions. People are more likely to trust projects backed by reputable institutions and the rise of institutional tokens will determine the future of altcoin markets. In addition, when asked about dramatic events between TON CEO Pavel Durov and France, Yat Siu candidly said: "We are not nervous. No matter what happens to Pavel Durov, the ecosystem continues to evolve."
