Fundstrat Managing Partner: If Trump wins the U.S. election, Bitcoin will surge
In an interview with CNBC, Fundstrat managing partner Tom Lee said that Trump's potential victory in the November election could boost asset prices, including Bitcoin. The market currently believes that Trump's chances of winning are higher than what the polls show and considers this a good thing. "When the market believes more in this, you will see cyclical stocks, small-cap stocks and Bitcoin perform better because these are obvious policy differences." Current national polling from FiveThirtyEight shows Democratic nominee Kamala Harris leading Trump by 3.4%. In contrast, cryptocurrency bettors on Polymarket believe there is a 52% chance of Trump winning.
