In a recent interview, Trump stated that the U.S. government should not sell cryptocurrencies. When asked about the U.S. government's recent sale of cryptocurrencies and whether he would still support them if he won the November election, Trump said that the U.S. government should not be selling cryptocurrencies but instead focus on building up their presence in this field. Furthermore, Trump referred to cryptocurrency as a "very modern currency," comparing it to artificial intelligence. He has previously expressed his desire for America to become a major Bitcoin mining country. According to Arkham Intelligence monitoring, last week a wallet marked as belonging to the U.S. government transferred $2 billion worth of Bitcoin to an unknown wallet address. The U.S Government currently still holds approximately $11 billion worth of cryptocurrency.
