Analyst: There's a 70% chance that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates by 50 basis points in September

The yield on US two-year Treasury bonds fell to 3.91%. We believe that the Federal Reserve may cut interest rates by as much as 42 basis points in September, implying a 70% chance of a rate cut of 50 basis points. The pricing for rate cuts by the end of this year is set at 109 basis points.
