Daim CEO: The U.S. government can hold Bitcoin as a reserve asset
Bryan Courchesne, CEO and founder of cryptocurrency investment company Daim, shared insights on how the U.S. government has begun to hold Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset. He described that the Department of Justice holds about 200,000 Bitcoins, making the United States the largest holder of Bitcoin. Therefore, they can easily transfer it to the Treasury Department and start owning $13 billion worth of Bitcoin on their balance sheet from there.
